Partial to almost complete lack of hair. Affected calves are often born with very short, fine, kinky hair that falls out leaving bare spots or areas particularly  usceptible to rubbing.

To date, no animal registered in the RAAA herdbook has been identified as a confirmed carrier or tested free animal of Hypotrichosis (Hairlessness).
