Industry efforts continue to align producers, feeders, and packers, and introduce quality and consistency through branded beef products. Red Angus cattle enrolled in the FCCP and sold through one of our procurement partners demonstrate superior carcass traits. Overall, Certified Red Angus Cattle are producing carcasses that consistently meet specifications for approved branded beef product lines. Carcasses weigh between 550 & 950 pounds 98.9% of the time. 72.8% of the carcasses qualify for the USDA Choice grade or higher. Of those grading Choice, 37.8% qualify for approved "Angus" products and other premium branded beef programs.
Upon meeting specifications, certified Red Angus cattle are eligible to supply Cargill Meat Solutions' premium branded product lines
