With pedigrees being the backbone of any breed association, it is relatively obvious to recognize the need for accurate pedigrees. The success of every RAAA activity is dependent on pedigree accuracy: genetic evaluations, marketing programs, and breed integrity. Due to necessity of accurate pedigrees, the RAAA Board of Directors recently passed policy that will ensure the correctness of AI Sires and Donor Dams reported parentage.
