DNA is required in the following instances:

• All sires (AI, Natural Service/Pasture, ET) must have a DNA sample on file for parentage.
• All donor dams must have a DNA sample on file for parentage.
• Calves from parents with genetic defect carriers in the pedigree must have DNA for the specific genetic defect(s) submitted for testing.
• Calves entered in RAAA Regional or National shows. See list of shows here.
