This group is comprised of our own home-raised heifers with some additional hand-selected females from top-tier genetics at K2 Red Angus and Pieper Red Angus. This uniform set is exceptionally gentle and easy to handle—move them on horseback, on foot, or by ATV with ease. These heifers were developed on summer range pasture, with a comprehensive salt and mineral program.
If you want to buy some sleep-all-night heifers, they don’t get better than this! They were AI’d to LEM STOCKYARD 2001 ET, known for elite calving ease (top 2% with a 20 CED). Thirty-two of these heifers were ultrasounded as AI’d, and the remaining thirty-four head were cleaned up with premium calving ease sires – in fact, every bull in the pasture is in the top 8% for calving ease, and two of them are in the top 1%! They were AI’d to start calving Feb. 25, so you can expect calves Feb. 15 for 50 days!
