Heifers were AI 'd April 25-29 to C-T Red Rock from genex. Heifers were ultrasounded late July and are identified into three calving groups: AI bred, mid February, March. Cleanup bulls are sons of Redemption and U199. Heifers have had two rounds of fusogard and 8 way. Prior to breeding were vaccinated with Virasheild VL6+HB, they received a second dose when ultrasounded. The heifers are deep bodied and gentle to handle, we use horses to gather. They are out in a large pasture that is very rough and dry, we feel this makes them learn how to travel and utilize grass in high remote areas not just the creek bottoms. Heifers can be sold by calving groups. All heifers will be re-pregged prior to delivery. Heifers were purchased privately from two ranches in Montana.
