Data search tools now available

The Red Angus Association of America is pleased to announce the release of the REDSPro data search tools. Members are now able to utilize and familiarize themselves with the new set of tools to search animals, members and EPDs. Other sections of the new REDSPro database will be available for member use in the coming months. To utilize the beta search tools, click here.

American Red Angus Magazine Photo Contest

Submit your photos by October 31.

The American Red Angus Magazine (ARA)
is hosting its annual photo contest!
Submit your photos to Kevin LeMaster by
5 p.m. CDT on October 31, 2014,
and you could win up to $500. All entries must include
a minimum of one Red Angus animal. 
 
Categories include:
General Ranch Life, Calves, Cow-Calf Pairs, Females, Bulls,
Summer Pasture, Fall Pasture, Winter Pasture and Spring Pasture.
 
Cash Prizes:
$100 per each category
$500 Grand Prize (Adults 18+)
$500 Grand Prize (Under 18)
 
All eligible entries must be in a mega-pixel digital format,
and all photos will become property of the ARA Magazine.

As weaning time approaches, be sure to submit your data on time so it can be included in the National Cattle Evaluation (NCE). Please submit data by:
 
October 24, 2014 for paper
 
October 31, 2014 for electronic
 
The request for calving information has just been sent. Now is the time to start thinking about submitting the birth and weaning information for the Spring 2014 calf crop.
 
Member Services Registry Specialists have put together a list of frequently asked questions that might help in the completion of your records. As always, they are available Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CDT for help you if you do not find what you are looking for.
