Cattle traded slightly higher in the Southern Plains and remained steady in the North. Feeder cattle and stockers remained higher and futures were mixed. Corn was lower and dressed cutouts were higher than the previous week.

Fed cattle traded $1 higher at $180. The feeder cattle national average for steers was $246.57, which is $2.19 higher. Most trade was $1 lower to $5 higher. The stocker cattle average was up by $2.83 at $307.49, and most trade was steady to $6 higher.

Choice cutout was $2.16 higher at $296.20. Select cutout was higher as well by $1.58 at $286.66. The Choice/Select spread was wider by $0.58 at $9.54.
