Fed cattle trade in the North and South both closed the week down $3 at $178. Live cattle futures trade closed the week up $1.50 to $2.15 across the front three months of trade. The national average price for feeder steers closed down $4.13 for the week at $232.03. Trade was mostly down $2-$7. In the front three months, feeder cattle futures closed the week down $.35 to $2.35 higher. The national average price for stocker steers closed the week at $273.71, $3.35 lower.

The Choice cutout closed the week at $6.39 lower at $293.87. The Select cutout closed the week at $270.70, up $3.28. The Choice/Select spread closed at $23.17, $9.87 lower on the week.

Cutter cow cutouts closed $4.16 lower at $225.03. Slaughter cow trade ranged from $1 higher to $4 lower.
