Commerce City, CO – When it comes to collecting data on the farm, cattlemen utilize all of their resources to record what they need. From a calving book that lives in a farm truck, to the many excel spreadsheets on a laptop, ranchers all have a unique way of gathering information on the farm. A simple procedure such as data collection can have a large impact when submitted into a breed database. But what if that became easier for Red Angus breeders to submit data records to the association? 

The Red Angus Association of America (RAAA) has officially partnered with UltraInsights Inc. to help producers by providing data entry services directly through the RAAA registration department to assist producers streamline their record-keeping and data submissions to REDSPro.

Within the last few years, many breeders have utilized UltraInsights privately. The relationship their team has had with the association, alongside the need for more assistance within the registrations department, led the RAAA to seek UltraInsights to help continue to provide a positive member experience to make data input easier and user-friendly for RAAA members. 

“UltraInsights brings a breeder and producer-friendly mindset to customer service. They will help bring us to a new member experience regarding data input, processing times, and ask the questions from a different perspective to help the end user,” said Halla Ramsey, Executive Director of Operations.

Not only will this benefit producers' data accuracy in the software program, but also help strengthen the foundation of genetic evaluations for the breed.

"We all win when the pool of data improves when we're looking at the EPDs to make decisions. Everybody in the whole membership can make better decisions if we all have more data behind those EPDs,” said Becky Hays, owner of UltraInsights.

RAAA registrations staff will continue to correspond with producers looking to submit data into their department. The UltraInsights team will then assist the RAAA staff by completing data input into the REDSPro software.  

Members looking to have direct assistance with data management for their operation are encouraged to hire the UltraInsights team privately. UltraInsights is available to take any type of records to submit data, from photos to online records, even during the busiest ranching seasons.
