Posted June 24, 2014

The Red Angus Association of America (RAAA) is pleased to welcome the addition of its new registry specialist, Lori Ireland. A recent graduate from North Central Texas College (NCTC), Ireland began her role full-time with the Association on June 1.
“Lori is truly an asset to this department,” said Angelia Brooks, RAAA registry manager. “Her quality of work, attention to detail and engaging personality allow her to excel in what she does. We’re happy to add her to our Red Angus family.”
As a registry specialist, Ireland will handle registration and transfers of animals, herd inventories, cooperator and lease agreements and inactivations.
“We’re thrilled to bring Lori on as a full-time employee,” said Twig Marston, RAAA CEO. “She has picked up her responsibilities quickly and is always eager to learn more and help members with whatever needs they may have.”
Before her time with the RAAA, Ireland worked 10 years in customer service and management in various settings. Ireland spent most of her childhood in Wichita Falls, Texas, but has also lived in 11 different states and England before settling down in Denton, Texas.
“I’m thrilled to work at the RAAA because it’s a great work environment,” said Ireland. “The people are awesome and I’m excited to get to work and learn in a new industry that the more I learn about, the more I am interested in.”
Ireland graduated Magna Cum Laude and with honors from NCTC in May 2014. She recently married a U.S. Army Veteran and enjoys camping, fishing and baking.
